Who knew that moving to a new place was going to cause such a ruckus! I knew that I was going to have to do things like pick out new paint colors and that I would be spending a lot of money on furniture, but I guess I didn’t realize that all of these hidden costs would be woven in to a new house. First off, we had a house inspection done, but it ended up that the guy didn’t check out the roof. We are having to spend $8,000 on a new roof, and that literally has made it so that we can’t buy furniture for two of our rooms.

We now have two rooms with absolutely nothing in them except for boxes. However, someone told me that we should sue the guy that did the inspection since he missed such a big expense. I’m normally not that type of person, but since it cost us so much and it WAS his job I’m thinking that it might be necessary. Luckily, we at least found a good deal on our new home insurance and electricity.
