Had no idea that he was the song writer of a popular song titled You Light Up My life ~ many of my friends like this song and even hearing this at the song contest. Anyway, he was found dead Sunday in apparent suicide in his New York City apartment. He was 73 years old. I do like the song it was a love song and catchy. Perfect for wedding song too.
