What’s For Dinner?

Thanks to Roman May

A new move always brings about change. After moving to Florida, I logged on to fortpierceflsatellitetv.com to set up our new satellite TV service. Also native to Florida is the Publix chain of grocery stores. One of the things I love about Publix, after their super-clean, well-organized stores, is their Apron’s featuring quick and easy recipes. Offered almost daily, a Publix associate cooks a meal made entirely from products from the store. At this display, you can sample the cooked dish, pick up a recipe card to take home, and shop for all of the ingredients to create this same meal at home.

I have loved trying the different recipes, and even for a person with minimal cooking skills, these dishes are easy to make and healthy for the entire family. The recipe cards are conveniently hole-punched for easy compilation and storage once home. As an added feature, all of the dishes and meals can also be found online through the Publix website. These recipes are filed by main ingredient or course. In total, there are over 700 recipes that can be found online. It’s been an invaluable resource when my kids complain that we are eating, “chicken again??”
